Music : I love most types of music from the 50's right through to upto date, I just can't get into the heavy club scene music, it's all manufactured synthetic rubbish. Music was my 1st love, and it will be my last, music of the future and music of the past (John Miles 1976) The long hot summer, I remember it so well !!! Leaving school at 16, spending all summer camped in NewBrighton baths, sadly now demolished. Then starting as an apprentice painter & decorator, (can-lad more like)! I became an expert at making tea and running errands, no wonder I don't run or drink tea now, is it ? I'm a black coffee-no sugar man, keep it simple is my motto nowdays.
Radio : Tuning In + Participating. My 2 favourite Presenters on radio are: Richard (Tricky Dicky) Jardine on Magic1548 medium wave. Catch Dicky J (Fri-Sun 10pm till 2a.m)

Richard Jardine has got to be the most layed back presenter ever, his seemingly effortless comfortable style and brilliant warm personality shine through the airwaves, guaranteed to put a smile on your chops ! Richard has 2 regular spots on his show where he trys to live upto his nickname of (tricky dicky). At 10.30pm he has quote of the week, and you call in and guess who said it. The other phone-in is at 11.30pm, he asks who am I? He gives out several clues to a well known personality, and you have to guess who he is. I think its his age, (he forgets who he is) !!

My other favourite presenter is Tony Snell (SNELLY) on Radio Merseyside 95.8 F.M. 1485 on medium wave. (Mon-Fri 8.30 a.m. thru till 11.30 a.m.) Snelly like Richard Jardine is an outstanding broadcaster. He has a warm friendly nature, and he too is compulsive listening. With his sidekick and Producer Mr Jimmy Mcracken, its laughter and mayhem guaranteed, even when serious stuff gets in the way !! You need a sense of humour transplant if you don't find these two funny. The most recent addition to the show, THE BIG POSER is a great idea. Snelly plays 4 tracks and the listeners are invited to phone, text or email the connection. Check it out at 10.30 ish every weekday morning (Mon-Fri). Great varied music is guaranteed, whatever your musical tastes, your well catered for.
